Alright, let's get this going :D I'll be attempting to play tedsies medieval legacy challenge. I've never played a period game, and I have no time to invest in the proper research. I've decided to take the maxis approach to accuracy, so it's medieval-ish at best. Fantasy-ish. Medieval-adjacent?

All entries will be posted here on my dreamwidth, with highlights and outtakes posted to my tumblr. It's been ages since I've used this interface, so it'll be an adventure.

Anyway, time to meet the Vale sisters (and their spouses), who I'll be playing rotationally, rolling a medieval ROS challenge every new season (except the first one). With my ROS luck, they'll all be death before winter, but let's try to be positive ><




The Vale Family - Aveline and her husband Edmund
Aveline Vale was 8 years old, when she met a boy at the fair. That evening she proudly proclaimed she would marry him, and no one else.

Edmund Vale believes himself the luckiest man in all of Simdinavia. How many men can say they've married their best friend? They're both very excited to start their lives in the hills of Ardenvale.


The Haywise Family - Linnea and her husband Caleb

The Somerwell Family - Evaine and her wife Rune

To the rest of the settlement Rune Somerwell is merely a competent healer, like her mother before her. The fact that her potions and lotions work better than even the court's physician must mean that she is blessed by The Watcher. Right?
