Angler's Bay BACC

Welcome to Angler's Bay! Angler's Bay is my third serious attempt at a bacc. Hopefully the third time is the charm! Join my founding families as they try to turn this small settlement into a thriving community.

Entries have already been posted to my Tumblr. You can read all of them in order by visiting this tag. But because of recent tumblr shenanigans, I've decided to back it all up here. It's my intention to post future rotations to tumblr first, and than post them as a full entry to my dw once the rotation is finished. Let's see if I can keep this up.

Angler's Bay - Meet The Settlers

Zoey DeLuna

Growing up in sunny, but crowded Calypso Bay, Zoey always yearned for a home closer to nature. Her parents always encouraged her to shoot for the stars, but Angler’s Bay will do just fine. Zoey hopes founding a town isn’t as hard as it sounds, or else they’ll all be in big trouble.

Tutorial: Retexture a Default Hair

I got this question over at my tumblr:

hi! sorry to bother you, but do you know is there any existing tutorial on how to recolor/retexture already existing defaulted hairs? :D

And I don't think there is... There are multiple tutorials you can use to help, but I can't think of 1 that specifically deals with applying new textures to an already defaulted hair. So I made you one ^_^

I really, really like this hair, so when I saw rented-space made one for females too, I just couldn't resist any longer :)

Textures are by Lilitj/Remi and it comes in 5 pooklet colors; volatile, incendiary, molotv, depth charge and dynamite. Grey (mail bomb) linked to black. Files are familied and compressorized :)

For some odd reason (which is totally not Attack On Titan related) I really like this hair ^_^
Anyway, retextured using Lilith's edits of Remi's textures, 4 of Pooklet's colors (incendiary, molotov, depth charge and dynamite). Grey is linked to black and the mesh is for all ages, thanks to Martini.

In a little under 45 minutes, it will be JustSimAround's birthday. Soooo... I made a little something for him, since he's such a nice guy and all ^_^

This is the beanie hat from a TS3 Uni store set -I think- that was dehairified by simsxolove@tumblr. I converted it to TS2. It's an accessory, so it can be used with all kinds of hairs. Well, some kinds of hairs to be honest, because it doesn't really work well with big poofy hairs.

Anyway, it comes in 6 of Poppet's colors (swatch). The polycounts are actually pretty reasonable (FC 1376-VC 780).

I needed more glasses, so I decided to convert these glasses by OrangeSims. Just one color and for AF only. I've tested them and they play nice with almost all face shapes. And please bear in mind the high polycounts :)
